Final track day for the year and first pass off the trailer was 9.19 at 156. I was so close to 8s I turned on the juice and thought Id march my way right to the 8 second zone, but the track wouldnt have it- blew the tires off and went 9.28 or something. Tried again with the nitrous on and loaded for bear and it blew the tires off again 9.4 something at 157. Backed the nitrous down and it went 9.16 at 156 and then i came right back up and it went 9.15 at 156!! It wasnt an 8 but it was good enough for a stock 4 valve and 32 psi. Talked to John Urist and told him the news and he said its the fastest Hellraiser kitted car in the country! Here is some video from the day along with some other friends passes... http://videos.streetfire.net/video/CFR- ... 715353.htm

Congrats!
Just curious whats the scoop with the silver and the white fox bodies in your video? They look to be getting down fairly well.

They look to be getting down fairly well. the white one just got finished not to long ago and was driven by chris who has the green turbo elcamino. the silver is rossie which is a ysi blown small block that was put togther in a couple weeks and over the course of like 2months has gone from running 9.50s to 8.70s. all good guys and nice cars

They both have come to the 10>5 shootouts too and will attend next year also. Rossi in the silver ysi car was there when Puckett had his mishap and the owners of the white ysi coupe were there with the el camino, and yes both very nice guys. They both got it finally figured out near the end of the year.

Vito...probably a nieve question but couldn't you just squeeze on the juice during a higher gear to keep down the traction loss and net you your 8's pass?
